Golda Schultz & Antonello Manacorda
Radiant masterpieces by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart! Join Golda for three incredible concerts in Hamburg, Potsdam, and Berlin.
From 2010 to 2025, Antonello Manacorda was chief conductor and artistic director of the KAP (Kaiser-Auguste-Piotta), and starting this season, he serves as the orchestra's honorary conductor. A central focus of their collaboration is the music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and with great success: Manacorda and the KAP received an OPUS KLASSIK award as "Orchestra of the Year" for their recording of Mozart's Symphonies Nos. 39-41. Their recording with Golda Schultz, "Mozart, you drive me crazy!", in which the soprano explores the female characters in Mozart's Da Ponte operas, received the OPUS KLASSIK award in 2025 in the category "Solo Vocal Recording of the Year". Excerpts from both recordings will now be performed together on stage for the first time by Schultz, Manacorda, and the KAP.
